The N-substituted pyridyl benzisoselenazolone compound, such as Ebselen, can significantly inhibit the main protease activity of coronaviruses and significantly inhibit the replication ability of SARS-CoV-2 in cells, and can be used for treatment of related diseases caused by coronaviruses.
